Summer Max tires

Can anyone tell me how cold it has to get before summer max tires start to give you problems. Snow and ice are not an issue, but i do drive when am temps are near freezing. Thanks

It is a gradual process, so there is not really one temp at which they become an issue. My personal experience is that even at near freezing temps they are still acceptable on dry roads. Just keep in mind when driving at these temps that you will have reduced grip levels.
