my fathers 1998 328i convertible was doing the same thing with the 18" wheels..
you either have to bring ur car to a shop and get the fenders rolled or get your own fender roller and do it yourself.. but u have to watch out that you dont bend the fenders too much cause u might ruin the paint on the outside..

i have 17" rims the front have 235s which dont rub at all, but the rear have 245s, and when i hit a little bump it rubs like no other. So you could put 235s on the 18s and youd be set. Just a thought.

oops, sry i thoguht you had said you put 245s on there, maybe getting some 225s, the next size down or someting, that would be cheap and less work. No rolling and bending and worrying about paint.

I have 18" rims and I also have 235's on front and 245's on the rear. They are just slightly too wide in the back so they DO rub when I hit bumps as well. I just learned to slow down for the bumps when I can. Which you should do anyway, haha.

you may have bought the wrong offset wheels, this could be a simple problem but expensive to fix...

my suggestion, if it only rubs when turning hard. remove the inner plastic guard in each front wheel well. this free's up a bit more room for the wheels at full lock and should stop the scrubing,
the plastic innerguard isnt really needed, but if you decided to go rally driving, put them back on:D

many E36's have had 19x10's put on in the rear and 20x8.5's all round with not many problems at all. offset and tyre size is very important to take into consideration when buying wheels

Thank you all so much. Yesterday I try to fix by I cut the plastic innerguard out for a bit more room free the wheel. It is work! But in the back I need to bring shocks up because rub when I hit bumps too. I have an adjustable Bilstein shocks in front and rear. I have Velocity Replica wheel and I put 235/40R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE750.

Your suggestions got me thinking and I went ahead and instead of removing the plastic inner guard, I just cut a hole in it where the tire was rubbing. Then I patched the hole. See the pics.
