I'm in need of new brake pads and pretty bad...so I was wondering what kind you guys have on your E36? I want to go with something ceramic or at least better than OEM. I've looked at tirerack.com and a few other places just want to know what you are running?
Thanks guys

I run (and always have) EBC Green Stuffs for road cars and Red Stuffs for track cars. they are fantastic. especially with the EBC discs too.
Very little brake fade (if any) and they work from cold which i always helpful :-)

Brake choice is very much determined by individual taste.
There's always a tradeoff between dust, noise, stopping power, fade resistance, rotor wear, cold and hot behavior, type of driving and number of track days [if any ], and cost.
I use:
Repco / Axxis / PBR Metal Master
EBC Redstuff
Akebono ACT Ceramic
Lots of other people like Hawk, Porterfield, Pagid et. al

Very good point.
I am the last of the late brakers and so my brakes get VERY hot but for small amounts of time. my friend is a more consistant and even braker and so swears by Pagid setups. however i struggle with them as they dont suit my driving style....plus they crack too easily when they hit 800 degrees a few times hehehehe
VERY nice setup by the way Thatwouldbegrea, recon that would be a beautiful car under hard braking!!!
