I will reserve judgement until the official release but so far, by looking at reported spy pics only, I am underwhelmed and disappointed. My guess is that once the tape is pulled off, the real wheels go on, and maybe some surprise panel changes on the bumper, etc. are made then the car will come to life. But as of now, I'm not really feeling it yet. I hope we all get pleasantly surprised.

Not impressed with what I've seen so far, but will wait to see one in person to make sure, one way or the other.

In the same way the E46 M3 looks better than the E46 330, I'm sure the E92 M3 will look better than E90/92. But in the same way the E90 DOES NOT look better than the E46, I'm sure the new M3 WILL NOT look better than the old M3. I've been trying to learn to like it, but it just ain't happening. I'm hoping for a miracle, because I'd like to be in one soon, but I'm not holding my breath. Starting with the underwhelming E90, there's only so much they will be able to do with air dams, wider fenders and a hood bulge. Mainly because of the styling, there's a good chance I will be driving a Z4 M Coupe instead.

The wider fender don't seem that wide, they look close to the 335i. I read that BMW didn't make an e46 M3 sedan becaues the rear wells didn't look right and couldn't work. But with word of an e92 sedan, makes me think it'll be like the e36, no extended wheel wells. We'll see.

Yes, the more I look at the 335i Coupe the more I want to keep mine and pull it off of ebay. The side view of the 335i appears bulbous at best and the dash reminds me of my old man's sold '66 Chevy....flat as a damn pancake. There is always alot of dumb hysteria on new model introduction. The masses put down their hard earned cash only to succumb to eventual mundane. Twin-Turbo heat soak will suck in Texas. 1st year reliability is questionable. AWD.....alot of **** to break on the new 335. I will pass until the guineas do their gig. BMW had years to work the bugs out of the E46 platform. While the car is not perfect.....it is very close IMHO for its duty purpose. BMW needs to up the color palette as well. Toyota Camry has more option choice in the color department. It seems every BMW in Dallas is either White/Black/Silver....very mundane. Unfortunately Turbos, Superchargers can also be high maintenance ticket items. In the long run the E46 will be a more reliable vehicle. ;) I say good luck to the new buyers..............I am half German and can not understand the loss of Teutonic Edge.......

In addition, how many Mystic Blue BMW's do you see. It is right up there with Sienna. BMW has dropped the paint for the 335i. That basically pisses me off and is enough to cancel by buying thoughts. Really, man.........

I'm sure the car will look 10 times nicer when BMW releases official pics. You really can't judge it based on spy shots alone.

I remember how everyone bashed and bashed the E92, but now it seems like a lot of people changed their mind about it. I'm sure the E92 ///M will be sick, as always.

Wishful thinking. As I said, only so much can be done with wider fenders, bigger air dams, etc.
I didn't bash the E92 at first. I wasn't thrilled with it but I withheld judgement, hoping it would grow on me as I got used to it, also knowing it would most likely look better in person. Didn't happen.
Nothing wrong with keeping an open mind, but wishful thinking to point of deluding yourself, well, I just can't go there. I hope I'm wrong. I hope you're right.
