Hi
Just new here and already requiring assisstance! Bought a 97 740 IL which needed a little work,bought a new battery and an employee trying to help out reversed the cables while installing,not an easy feat, lights flashed ,sunroof opened ,cables got really hot and something under the hood stunk really bad like it was burning. The car will still start and run , however the alarm will not shut off so i am not sue what else if anything has been affected ,the noise is just to much.
Any suggestions on what could be affected and how am I able to stop the alarm?
