I'm here too, I'm in Melbourne. I hardly ever post though, and never in the Australian forum as no-one else ever posts!! :)

EDIT: Ok, hardly ever may be wrong, that was my first post, but I've been on a bit, just never posted! (Was at e46forums that I posted now that I think about it...)

Hey guys. I'm one of the few from Adelaide (or maybe the only one) on Bimmerfest.

Only been in the BMW scene since December 2005.

I try to give as much respect to other BMW drivers as I can, a thumbs up or a big nod, but most dont acknowledge me back. Only a rare few ever do. So from that kinda feedback, I wouldnt expect too many to be posting on here.

Its nothing like the classic car scene at all, where there are alot more friendly waves to be found. :dunno:

i dont experience that, i even get nods from guys in e46 m3's. I even got a thumbs up. Do they realise that ur giving them a thumbs up? cause i know if some guy did that to me i would give them a thumbs up and a really big smile :)

I think most of them dont notice anything on the other side of their windows.... they all seem to be in their own world (not necessarily a bad thing.... getting distracted while driving can cause accidents)....

But i dont know..... maybe they are just owners and not enthusiasts.

Not too many modified ones out my way though.... but the ones that are seem pretty poor (way too low, cannon exhausts, altezza lights, and general untidyness...... yuck)

There is a family around the corner that has about 5 BMW's in the driveway, most in excellent condition....... but knowing some of the people they socialise with, I dont think i'll introduce myself.... :eeps:

drazza, just wondering, is it possible to apply for moderator in one of the forums. Say the 3 series or the victorian one?
I would love to do that. Be a big part of this new bmw forum :)
