This isn't the best place for an intervention ;) as we all have the same sickness!! :)

Which factory are they making it at? I think the E60 is made at two different locations, no?

E60s are built in Dingolfing. The only other place that I think they might be be assembled is in China for that market only.

I am taking ED in a week and my car has been built for over two weeks. Reasons for the long lead time may be:
1) It was the most convenient time to build it production scheduling-wise and/or
2) It would be quite embarassing if I flew 3,000 miles and the car was not ready yet:bawling: .

Love to hear your experience in a week...
I can understand 3-4 weeks lead time... 2 months is a bit long..
I guess I just don't want my baby sitting out there for that long...... :-(

Me also. It's estimated completion date is July 28. Are they making me crazy to go get it early?

I hope they are putting in the RTTI in your baby... did they update the pricing on your ED PO? RTTI should add $100 more on the price of the NAV

Our build is a July build. The RTTI builds don't start until September. :thumbdwn: They did raise the price of the e60 by 2K, but I got the old price since I ordered in May.
