I am going to purchase the Konis Sport for my 98 BMW 528i. Before I do, I need to ask these questions and have them answered to ensure I am going the right way.

1) I have the stock springs (non-sport), is that OK or would I have to replace the springs too?
2) I have the stock wheels (15's :tsk: ) is that also OK, or would an upgrade in wheels be a good thing to do too?

Thanks guys

No need to replace springs or wheels when upgrading shocks

Also this other link which talks about koni shocks on oem suspension components>

I own a 2001 330i and recently bought the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 set of sport tires (225/45 front and 245/40 rear) and installed the koni FSD set of front and rear shocks. The rest of the suspension is OEM.

And man, I can tell you this combo rocks! I now feel the car more responsive and sharp in turns without compromising comfort in city (I live in Mexico City with many bumps and holes in streets).

Hope this helps you in your decision.

Hi.. Are there other feedbacks especially from those who have fitted Koni FSDs with runflat tires?

TIA
