I'd be very interested in seeing the results YOU could achieve with Zaino. If you want to give it a shot, let me know and I'll send you some Z1, Z2, Z5, and Z6... ;)

Thanks Al! :thumb:

Zaino really IS great... ;) The 325i is next. Then my bike... ;)

I haven't received ZFX yet. Last Saturday I applied the second coat of Z5 to get rid of the remaining swirl marks. Yesterday, I applied one coat of Z2 and voila! I'll certainly use ZFX on the 325i. It's due in the mail any day now... ;) I'll keep you posted! :thumb:

Hey GTI, thanks! :thumb:

Z1, two coats of Z5 (my car had swirl marks all over it upon delivery), one coat of Z2. ;)

Alex,

SUPAH PIX AND SUPAH CAR!!!!!!!

BTW, do you care to post the sixth pic from above (the one with fender/wheel) in 1024*768 ? I'd love to have it as desktop background.

Again, great job and great car, buddy!

Amazing result Alex:thumb:

Talking about dealer paint prep it usually sucks:thumbdwn:
I went to test drive the RX300 with a friend and most of the cars in the lot have been washed and 90% if them have swirl marks clearly visible.

Stopped by Claridges BMW in Fremont,CA and saw the new 745i. I like the look. Customers were lined up to test drive the car. Every 15 minutes when it comes back another salesman/customer duo were already waiting to get in the car.

Btw, don't park the car near the waterfront for too long.......... BIRDS:D

You definitely don't want to follow me. Birds seem to follow my car and if they don't crap directly on my car, they crap near it. Maybe it's how Zaino smells... hmmm....

I apologize for not commenting sooner, but last night I lost my connection to the fest right after you notified me that the pics were available for public consumption. And my crappy monitor at work even makes my car pics look bad.:)

So to make a short story long, I'm only now viewing them from a decent workstation and all I can say is WOW!

I had my doubts when I viewed the CB M3 yesterday at my local dealer. You could tell that they hadn't washed it in a while, because it had that white residue that you see from road salt all up and down the doors, rear quarterpanel and bumper.

It looked like crap! I at first thought it was Jet Black, and I can't lie that I wasn't a little disappointed when I found out it wasn't JB, but CB.

But you've renewed my faith that if I am so fortunate one day to be the owner of this beast, I, too, will opt for CB.

Good job, bud, and thanks very much for the motivational material these pics will provide me when I look at my new wallpaper!
