I received a message this weekend that the specifications and pricing will be released mid-August. I have looked at the attached PDF, but it only shows the specification not the projected pricing.

:yikes: :eeps: I don't see a ordering guide for the 760i so it's a good guess that it won't be around anymore.

I'm not really suprised why no one bought them, you couldn't get comfort seats with them and they were $110k, for that much I could buy a barely used 760Li with more back legroom.

That's exactly what we thought when we ordered the 760Li. There is no huge price difference between i and Li and I never understood why the i had no full leather and Alcantara Headliner or the special wood.:( This is just an example, but those features come standard in Germany on ANY V12, no matter if i or Li. Some might consider this difference not so important, but that is something special on the V12. So why spend that much money on a car that has almost the same interior as the V8?
This might explain why the 760i had the lowest sale-numbers of the 4 available E65/66-models and BMW might have decided it wasn't worth offering it any more (didn't they only sell about 10 or sometimes even less cars/month of the 760i?)...:dunno:

Hi Adrian, there you go again...
I checked the options for the MY2007 M5 - Hmm, according to the attachment, there is NO Night-Vision for the M5...
I think you posted something different several weeks ago.....Now don't tell me the BMW-Guru announced something wrong...:neener:
If so, GREAT.. (...since new options are options I don't have.. ).....

hey dude... not sure about europe, but North America based 760i's had EDC configured to go into sport mode by default when the car is started. so if you wanted sporty and V12, 760i was a way to go for people. its a shame they wont offer it anymore - at least they should give people with 760Li and EDC an option to configure what setting EDC should default to.

That might be, but the sales-report tells a different story. Check out last month (July):
Sold cars:
750i: 335
750Li: 946
760Li: 22
760i: 5
A year ago (July '05):
750i: 492
750Li: 1,243
760Li: 44
760i: 7
No doubt, the 760i is a great car, but BMW North America simply blew it on that one. People aren't stupid and compare the 760i to the Li, and the fact that BMW NA even eliminated standard options like full leather wasn't helpful either....:dunno:
You simply get a better deal on the 760Li and that's exactly what the sales-report reflects...
