Just moved to the OC (Newport Beach Area). Trying to buy the OEM BMW Multi Piece Style 42 Rims with tires (these were the sport package optional rims at the time) and have them installed on my 2001 530i (E39 - Non Sport).

This is easier said than done after checking with the local BMW Dealerships. I would like Michelin Pilot Sport A/S or Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires on these rims, but the BMW dealerships may not be able to do this.

Does anyone have any advice on how to buy these rims or aftermarket rims in this area that is easy and quick to do? Any good contacts or places to go to get this done?

I am also looking for a good car wash in this area or do you have any recommendations for a Mobile Detailer?

Thanks again for your help.

Hey Alan,

Thanks for your offer, any photos and did you recently upgrade your rims and tires? Are you located in CA or MN according to your area code?

Finally went with Irvine BMW and was happy with the service and price. They actually responded to my request for price promptly and quoted a competitive price. Went with a staggerred 17" set with tires and just has Irvine BMW service mount and balance them for me. I have to say this change although minor is a word of difference coming from the standard 16" OEM rims.

Now I have to sell these OEM BMW 530i 16" rims with tires. Will post soon.

Also now to find a detailers and window tint vendors.

Thanks again!
