My new ford truck that i have made 3 payments on has gotten struck by lightning, a week later its still not in working condition, every time they replace something on it something else fails. The vehicle is at a ford dealer, i am thinking that the repair bill will be over half the value of the truck, meaning that it will have to be disclosed like a flood damaged vehicle making it virtually worthless and unable to trade. How should i deal with the insurance company, i am at a loss as to what i should ask for regarding payoff and lost value. If i take it back i wont even be able to trade it, any suggestions?

The problem is that lemon laws are for manufacturing defects. In this case it is clear that it is an act of God which caused the problem. He needs to deal with his insurance company and see what they suggest.
