I had a disastrous flat tire on my 2000 528iT.
It was driven maybe 1/2 mile--very slowly--while flat. The tire's sidewall has been pretty much shredded and the wheel may be a bit bent but I don't know yet if it's ruined. I've put my spare on and I'll have to get a new tire to replace the one that's shredded sometime soon.
In the meantime, I have an '86 635csi that's been totalled. Is it possible to use the 225/60R15 wheels & tires (I switched from the metric sized wheels) as a spare on the 528 (235/45R17)?
