Mine sleeps in the Ghetto garage. She doesn't much care as long as I keep "her" clean.

i don't have a pic of my home garage, but this pittiful shat-hole is where my car spent most of it's first year. i rented an apartment next to my university which is 50 years old. the underground garage had no air circulation and the roof caved in between support beams. some places in the garage are so low that i couldn't stand up straight. oh, and if you notice, the car next to mine looks as if it hasn't been moved in the 50 years since the apartment was built..hahaha

Cliff3- Are your cabinets from Mills Pride? The ones Home Depot sells? I'm currently designing a cabinet system, and they're near the top of my list. They look good- how easy were they to put up? Thanks

Thanks :D

Home Depot yes, Mills Pride no - these are manufactured by Doable. A helper (my Dad) and I needed 2+ days to install them. The job would have gone quicker if I'd just let Home Depot deliver them. They're attached at the bases with 0.5" lag bolts through the kick plates, and 3" deck screws going through 1x3s attached below the second shelf from the top (as shown in this next photo). We haven't had any earthquakes of note, so they haven't been stress tested in the 3 years since I installed them.

Thanks for the advice. Great job- floor included. Really transforms the space. I'll post pics on here when mine's done.

Since you neighbor's garage looks so tight, where does he store his drugs? :D They're probably still growing.

Bimmer looks good as ever Dave  Nice garage, what kind of floor is that?

I went down to Home Depot and picked up some vinyl flooring ($250). I used adhesive to bond down the leading edge at the front of the garage, but I did not bond down the other edges. I used clear tape along the other joint lines, but the edges are beginning to lift up. The floor is so much easier to clean now.

I used to have a 40 x 60 shop bldg; I could get 15 or 20 cars in it... :yikes:

This one is 836 sq ft.

The blue Coupe, black Coupe and silver Rdstr aren't mine, I'm just doing a differential mount upgrade on them (the blue Coupe received a Eurosport twinscrew supercharger). My cars (plus an X5 4.4) are shown in my signature. So even with this garage, my black Rdstr is outside when I work on somebody's car. When I have two cars, like now, the gray Rdstr gets stashed in the garage of a former neighbor about 3 miles away.

Here is one during the assembly of my '88 CRX. Its a lot cleaner now, and there is a 3rd car in the back, gotta love Honda's! (I can easily fit 3 cars in my 24 x 24 garage)

I am planning to drywall/insulate and do something to the floor this spring. I've also upgraded all the lights.

I'm also looking to get a BMW to put in above garage, hehe...
