Hello there, can anyone let me know how to remove the shift boot off of a 1991 318i? I recently asked for any info regarding the shift KNOB, because I recently purchased a 318i and both the knob and boot need replacing. Thanks!

push it from the side, ITs sort of a frame inside on the boot. With nylon hooks
Heres some pics so you can figure it out easily
