My parents are buying a 2006 Acura TL. They really like the car and I think it is the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, performance and reliability for them. They also looked at the Lexus ES 350 but at a price close to MSRP in the $36K range I think the Acura will be a better deal.

They are looking at the 4Dr Sedan, Automatic with Navigation System. It has a $35,325 MSRP and a $670 Destination Charge. There seems to be a $1,000 marketing incentive right now and the Invoice price is $32,875 which includes the $670 Destination charge.

My parents have a deal on the table for $31,600 including Destination charge. That is about $1,275 below Invoice so I guess the dealer is eating some of the holdback as well.

This seems like a great deal to me. I'm encouraging them close the deal since the dealer has the exact color combo that they want. My parents said that the dealer seems to have quite a few 2006's left on the lot and the '07's are probably on the way.

I think a loaded 2006 TL with Nav for $31,600 is a good deal. Can they do any better?

Dont know if they can do any better, but that's a heckuva deal, esp. considering how much the 2007 Type S will cost.

I think it's a good deal. I paid about $4000 less than that for my wife's TSX with nav. If they like the car, I'd take it. They definitely won't be disappointed.

That sounds about right. Acura dealers really try hard to get the cars off the lots with huge incentives. In 2004 they offered my friend 35k for a TL automatic with nav and threw in the A-spec aero kit and wheels at N/C.

That's a heck of a deal. Go for it!

They closed the deal yesterday for about $34K out the door with taxes, title, etc. They pick it up this weekend. I think they got a good deal.
