"Loading Phonebook" , Bluetooth world's record?

My Samsung A900 has been connected to my 2005 X3 via bluetooth. Now comes the "loading phonebook" sequence. This started Monday am and has been "loading" off and on for about 6 hours over the course of 4 days (for less than 100 contacts).

Anyone have a story that took longer? I have heard of 2-3 hours, but not 6?

I am having the same problem with the LG VX8300. All I get is the "Loading Phonebook message. The phone itself works through the vehicle but I am unable to use the phonebook and must dial directly from the phone. I receive calls through the bluetooth and can answer them using the steering wheel. I did just have another problem today. The entire phone menu on the navagation system is gone and have no bluetooth in the vehicle.

If you check the list you will find that your phones do not work with the veh. Look into getting a phone that is on the list. Both of your issue are common and I have see it happen. If you take the veh to your service center they will not troubleshoot your problem cause you do not have a phone that is recommened by bmw.
