2000 M5
Silverstone Blue / Black
85k miles

The car was bought by a good mechanic I know roughly 2 years ago. The car was in a "light flood" and had a salvaged title. The guy claims nothing got messed up from the flood besides some fuse box; he also said no water got into the interior. Supposively the car has no problems whatsoever, even electrically. The car has a new clutch, and a few other things he mentioned that I forgot.

The guy is an excellent mechanic, and I know he knows his stuff. I know for a fact the car has been his daily driver for the last 2 years; I'm assuming problem-free considering I've seen it parked right outside his shop whenever he is there.

1. So what's this car worth to you? What is the max I should pay while still walking away with a pretty good deal?
2. Is this Silverstone Blue a rare color, or just not too popular?
3. What types of things should I look out for when I go to deeply inspect the car/test drive it?

Anyone know of any other M5's for sale < $20k.. high miles/salvaged title?

Thanks in advance

Look on eBay - Maroon 2000 M5, 45K, salvage title. right now around 20K, no reserve. I emailed the guy, and he says he had BMW do a PPI, and it came back clean - no problems.
