There will be a Concours with BMW as the featured Marque on Sept 15-17 here in Winston Salem. All proceeds are being donated to Brenner Children's hospital. Here's an overview from the website at http://www.concoursdegraylyn.com/

The inaugural Concours de Graylyn - a celebration of fine automobiles, art, and wine - will take place on September 15th, 16th, and 17th, 2006 at Graylyn Conference Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This event is being held as a fundraiser for the Brenner Children's Hospital at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

Envision the rare display of celebrated automobiles, including Pre-War and Post-War classics from museum and private collections, representing the finest of each era in their original conditions. Exceptional vintage beauties will include: Alfa Romeo, BMW, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Rolls Royce.

The Concours de Graylyn seeks to recreate the elegant atmosphere of the original European Automobile Festivals, where prestigious motorcars were presented in a venue with fine art, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional wines.

The picturesque setting of the Mews at the Graylyn Conference Center grounds captures the charm of old Europe. Built to resemble a 17th Century German estate, the manicured acres are the perfect site for a Concours event destined to be as exclusive as Pebble Beach, Meadowbrook, Amelia Island, and Hilton Head Island.

A full weekend of activities includes a Wine Event, Art Exhibition, Public Auction of Pre-War and Post-War Autos, Vintage Aircraft Display, and Five Exotic Car Rallies culminating in Collector Car Display of 300 classic and exotic automobiles in addition to the Concours display!

"Check back often! Events are changing and growing daily!"

Museums and private collectors are encouraged to participate in the main Concours, and the general public is invited to enter their foreign and exotic cars in the exciting Collector Car Display or Public Auction. Contact William Dymond at 1-866-472-9596, or H.Lloyd Gillespie, Jr., at 336-789-1548

The Concours de' Graylyn takes pride in supporting the work of the Children's Cancer Center of Brenner Children's Hospital at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Proceeds from the event will benefit Brenner's cancer work for children. Event founder and co-chairman, William Dymond, has stated," Having had cancer myself, I found that there truly is a difference between good care and great care. The difference can mean life or death.

Our mission is to bring awareness and financial support for this region's finest treatment centers for cancer. Brenner truly is making a difference in peoples' lives."
