Canon S3?

Is it a good camera? On dpreview.com they thought it was very good but is there anything better for that price range for that type of camera? Thanks.

I have the S2IS and like it for what it does. It takes great pictures outdoors, has a bit of trouble on low light photos, but has an AMAZING optical zoom length - 12X. It starts up very fast and has speed burst and continuous shooting modes. I posted a few photos of my car that I took with my S2IS if you want to check them out. I also posted a link to the review that Steve at Steve's Digicams did of the S2. I'm sure he's done a review on the S3 as well since it replaced the S2. If I had to do it over again I would.

Take a look at the Panasonic DMZ30 or DMZ20. Can't say anything bad about it. The LUMIX lens is awesome.
