Next up, suspension. I am sure I have the original struts and shocks on that 98 328i with 86K miles on it. I don't want to spend 800 for all four. 300 would be more like it. Are there 2 or 3 different Bilsteins made for the 328i? I see regulars, HD and Sports I think. Who has experience with them?
I am not a big fan of Tokico as I had some in a 300zx and they were a soft as Monroe sensatracs. I want something really stiff on all four corners. I had good luck with KYB gas-a-just on the 300zx. They had a lifetime warranty, which came in handy as I did blow a shock out, but they were real stiff.

So for 320 bucks would you go with the normal bilsteins (I have no idea how stiff they are) or the KYB GR2/gas-a-just?
Here is what I am looking at:

Thanks for any input you can provide!

look into koni shocks. I have heard that that bilsteins are softer than the konis. Konis are what I will get, eventually.

i have a question...I'm looking at the same links and if I were to put 18's on my 98 328i is a 1.4 inch drop too much or how will that look?
