Thanks 335TT. These numbers have been out on the forums for quite awhile now, but there is no confirmation that they are accurate so it is all still speculation. The pricing rumors from the forums even made it as far as being mentioned in C&D:

http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/11535/spied-2008-bmw-m3-with-specs.html

but they are still just rumors until confirmed by BMW.

Ah I see thanks for the clarification. I hope those are close to the real numbers, because I would love to get a M3!!!

+1, the dealer I talked to was thinking the M3 was going to to be close to $70,000. According to this pricing estimate with the options I would want it would be just over $61,000. Thats roughly a $15,000 premium over a 335i optioned the same way so these numbers do make sense. If the M3 were to cost anymore I think it would be priced out of its segment.

Just so you know, this is a false rumor. Reliable sources tell us that the ///M3 is going to be following the standard 12-18 month window after the car it is based on is released. In this case, 12-18 months from September for the ///M3 coupe. As the E92 is not being officially released in the EU until the end of this month, BMW will be focusing on the E92 in Paris.

your welcome sorry for the re-post, I was emailed this from my dealer, so I figured it was accurate, and since he said he just got it saturday, I figured it wouldn't be a repost.
