While traveling to PA for Thanksgiving I was playing around with my steering wheel and made a discovery. When my steering wheel is fully telescoped, the steering is heavier! Has anyone else noticed this, or am I imagining it?

Will have to check. I can't recall having my steering wheel set anywhere BUT fully extended the entire time I've had the car. :p

I f you mean fully telescoped in it might just be that straighter arms have less leverage.Mine is always in as far as possible so I have no comparison.

I mean fully extended out... try it that way for 5 minutes, and you might feel a difference. :dunno:

Really? It kind of supports itself in that state, making for an almost "weightless" effort to have it upright. Then again, you are a tad more "senior" than I. :p

I suppose it boils down to the quantity of blood you end up carrying around.

On the contrary, I'd say it's been…uplifted.

I noticed this too only on my car its reversed. On my car when the wheel is not telescoped at all it feels heavier. :dunno: I almost posted something about it a couple of months ago but I just figured I was a wierdo or it was all in my head that the steering felt a little different...:dunno:
