An unforeseen family situation has hit me like a ton of bricks and is forcing me to part with my ‘project’ car, and all of the appurtenances that I recently acquired for the car. This is my second BMW project car (a 1997 E39 540i in Artic Silver) and, of course, now that I have spent eight painstaking months getting the car completely redone at The Little Garage (a renown BMW specialist), BMW of Manhattan and Habberstad BMW with a couple of complete overhauls, changing the O2 sensors, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, air compressor, a new dash display, replacement and installation of new ceramic tints and numerous other new parts and components, including two new Dinan Software installations (engine and trans, both completed in the past month and one last weekend), that have run over $12K (for a total of over $25k into the car in the last eight months, excluding the parts listed below)… Yes, I am a fanatic and was completely into the car and I purchased everything (almost all exclusively directly from BMW of Manhattan), therefore anyone purchasing any of these items will be very very happy. I am open to reason and am willing to combine shipping costs but ask that you note my situation, which is not a crock. If you have any concerns, please see my feedback on eBay (my username is NYCRAVEN) and I would be willing to list items on eBay at a ****it-Now price (which price will be increased a slight percentage to cover the otherwise ridiculous fees), and I can accept Paypal as a method of payment. I am willing to accept local pick-ups (if you live in or around New York City) but feel that I am offering very reasonable shipping rates ($__sh). I am selling the car and hope to have pics soon (the car is a ’97 E39 in Artic Silver with 104k miles—the car also still carries the remainder of a $2,700 24k/24 month real warranty from AAA (with approximately 18k/16 mos left), and is not one of those fake internet specials) and can provide pics of any of the items noted below. Almost all of the items (with the exception of the wheels) come in either the original BMW boxes or packaging materials and wrappers. The following items are either brand new or only a few weeks old and MINT (unless otherwise noted):
Brand New DINAN Front Strut Brace (Model No. D180-390) (This has Never been removed from the original Dinan Box, which has never even been opened up.) $425 ($20s)
OEM BMW Xenon Lights with Angel Eyes (63 12 6 912 439 & 63 12 6 912 440) with OEM BMW Ballasts—these also contain OEM Bypass and Angel Eye connectors (to become a direct drop-in, plug and play for any non-xenon car). These were purchased last month for a total of $2,710 with tax directly from BMW of Manhattan ($725 per light, $390 per ballast, $100 per bypass, $70 per angel eye connector)—they have only been on the car four weeks and are in Mint. Selling price for the lights is $1,350 ($40sh). I will consider selling them without the Bypass and Angel Eye Connectors (which can be purchased for $200 ($10sh) separately) for $1,200 ($40sh). Please note these will be shippped in the original BMW Boxes.
OEM BMW STYLE M66 Staggered Wheel Set (17x8 and 17x9) with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires—these have been on the car four weeks and have approximately 500 miles on them—there is no road rash, scrapes, etc….and these are in MINT MINT MINT. The rims were purchased last month from BMW of Manhattan and the total cost for rims, tires and installation cost me $3,300. I am only asking $1,800 ($120sh).

Clear (non-yellow) Rear Taillights (all bulbs work and they function perfectly—these are over a year old and please note they do need a buffing as there is a little funk that I just noticed on the driver side (only), but did not notice when they had been on the car—I’m guessing this should be an easy buff $160 ($20sh)
