After the storm calms down when the M3 debuts for a yr or earlier, this is what I want in my M3. Are the options good enough for an M3. I don't want my car really "fully" loaded.
2008-09 M3 Sedan
Premium Package
SMG (Rumors say it's standard, which I hope it is)
Comfort Access
M Seats with Width adjustment
Navigation
Simple, that's how I like to keep my stuff. This is all i need in a powerful family (4-door) car. What do you guys think? or :thumbdwn:

whats the point of gettin an M3 if your gunna have 4 doors on it : / ????
first it takes away from the looks
second it adds weight and stuff
third it takes away from the aggressive look of an M3
i just cant see any reason behind getting a sedan edition of an M3....
M3s are a sports car, not a family car in my opinion

1. That's your opinion, not fact. E36 M3/4's look better than the standard E36 M3.
2. Weight and stuff? Weight I can understand, but stuff? Besides, the weight between coupe and sedan is trival, and often the sedan is more rigid.
3. You just repeating issue one.
The M3 is NOT a sports car - it is a sporty luxury coupe. Elise, Cayman, Z4 Coupe, and Corvette are sports cars, but not an M3. This doesn't diminish what the car is, but realize that it has a useable back seat.
If you're old enough, remember the E30 M3's main competitor? It was the MB 190E-2.3 (?) which was a four door.

Some folks are making an M3 to be more than what it is. I had one. They are great cars. But come on boys.
The M3 is a consumer grade street car not a Ferrari. I say let them have their Nav if it makes them happy.

I hate when people counterpost and say something retarded like: "Why would you get an M3 in a sedan?" or "Navi, in a m3? blasphemous!"
If you want to spend $60K+ on five used Pontiac Azteks- God Bless you-enjoy. If you would rather spend that on a 4dr M3 or a coupe...even better...People have different demands and needs and the fact that BMW makes it means that they anticipate a demand.

Why not? Why prive your kids of the fun of pulling enough G acceleration to spill their happy meals (TM) across your side windows or to spend the rest of that nice family vacation in jail?
