I saw on Dinans site that with there supercharger you get 255 hp well I imagine thats at the crank which blows for 5800$ about 35hp at the wheels damn.So does anyone have a e36 with M50 or M52 motor and have a supercharger on it.Also what are your hp figures to the wheels with whatever brand you have?THANKS MUCH

I am putting my firebird up for sale next spring and I have my heart set on a 1995ish 325i coupe 5sp. Look on ebay there is a couple of people selling turbo manifolds for a 323/325/328 for really cheap.

Manifold $350
Turbo $ 450
FMIC $200
Bov 50-150
wastegate
oil lines, various piping...

you could turbo one of these things for like $1500 easy. Since i dont own a BMW and im new to them... i have no idea how you can tune one. Hopefully you can get a wideband o2 sensor and greddy emanage. Again i dont know what the stock fuel injectors or fuel pump support either. Dont go supercharger, over priced and under powered.

I plan to take a loan out for $5500 get a decent 325 for $4500 and piece together the turbo parts.

Greddy e-manage does not work on our cars.

You may get it to control fuel but spark is another story. E-manage works with 0-5V and our timing signal is 12V. There are only like 2-3 people that have ever gotten it to work and that was only after some serious modifications to their ECU.

Pretty much unless you have a degree in electrical engineering, it will not work.

And good luck piecing together your e-bay turbo kit. People who have been in this game for a while will tell you "You get what you pay for." The forced induction parts you see on e-bay for our cars aren't cheap because they are common and easy to find (as is the case with Supra parts)...they are cheap because they are CRAP.

Search the various BMW forums..they are no shortage of stories about e-bay failures.

you can use a E-manage with 12v coil packs you just need to use interposing transistors i/e Base=12 supply Collector=0-5 and Emitter=coil pack. I have used this setup on 300zx twin turbos before and it works well. Now that I am entering the Bimmer set I think I am going to flash my Eprom

244 to the wheels 5k later? **** that. I'd take that money and piece together a nice twin turbo setup.

Twin turbo doesn't fit a e36 without a LOT of serious modifications.... I've tried it a lot... and had to star a project with 1 turbo. But I've selected an ball bearing to have a faster spool....

now that, must be nice. But what turbo is that, What wastegate, what kind of EMS etc. etc. etc. If iam building a car to 800hp, i dont like to skimp on that sorta stuff.
