All I can say is: This car as "M X5" or something similar (following the current 4.8is) is going to be a BLAST! I simply love those new gadgets and additional options...SWEEET!:D :bigpimp:

well looks like for about 60,000 you can get a 4.8 with many options.....love it. Can't wait for my current lease on the 05 X5 4.4i to run out in about 18 months.

X5 will not be getting ///M badge as per the latest rumors. But there will be a bi-turbo V8 "is" verison. X6 will have ///M badge.

what's best way to get a good price on a new X5 (besides waiting for supply to pick up) since there is no ED?

Anyone know what % the dealer makes on wholesale price? I need to know because after all the referrals I have made to them, they promise to give me one at there cost.

Did BMW change the price on the Premium Package? Shows up as $4050 on their website but $3950 in the PDF?
NM, noticed the price increases in the thread underneath.

Jon, do you have the ED pricing list for the 07 X5?
Thanks.

there is no ED pricing for x's, or m's... the x's because they are built in the US, the m's because, well, BMW has no need to discount them since people would love to pick them up in europe and race them on the Autobahn....

Almost correct - the X3 is build in Europe and can be ordered under ED. of the X's only the X5 is built in the USA.

But the next generation of X3 and future X6 will be built in US.

Do you qualify for diplomatic pricing?
Im not sure, im just going on the of 47k on the pricing sheet. really no point of showing people the price of that much if we the (consumer) can't get it for that much it just makes me sad. lol

You need a diplomatic visa to qualify.
Those sheets are confidential. End customers aren't suppose to see them.
You could take European Delivery on a 535xi wagon instead :)

Base pricing has not changed for MY08, but the Premium package is now cheaper and the car includes more equipment as standard, like Pano roof. Some options, however have slightly increased in cost, like HUD.

In Florida, you should be around 1000 over invoice on the X5. But you might take a hit on the 07 trade in, the boys and girls over there don't give nothing away :tsk:

Cars.com has the complete 2008 build with all the options. It shows the MSRP, Invoice and description of every option.
You can do your own build from here http://www.cars.com/go/crp/research.jsp?logtype=6§ion=summary&aff=national&call=crp&makeid=5&year=2008&modelid=3197

Would be awesome if nobody believed that it had no reserve, no bids, then someone take it home cheap as hell, lol. Seller would probably renig on the deal and cancel auction minutes before it closes. Either sell it $30,000 less than expected, or get a negative feedback, lol. Big punishment, what would you prefer? That'd be a pricey positive mark, that's for sure.
