they don't show the z4 dealer cash and only have a 3 series lease ... which is bs as I could negotiate a better lease than they have advertised.

Last month under 2006 BMW Z4 incentives they showed the $1,800 and $2,000 trunk money. Right now they are not showing any incentives.

I know they aren't showing any that is why I posted it. Edmunds IMO isn't up to date on BMW incentives. They didn't advertise the X5 incentive consistently either, and they don't have the z4 incentive for this month which supposively is 2x's what it was last month.

What are the current Z4 incentives?

No one has posted solid numbers, that i have seen but anywhere from 4-7k is what some have said. The lease rates skyrocketed so it makes sense that the incentive must have gone up as well.

$5000 on 2006 Z4 3.0i and $7000 on 2006 Z4 3.0si

I ran the numbers with the new lease rates and the above incentive on my z4 3.0si that I leased 3 weeks ago, which was 2k and the promotional .0005 buy rate.

The numbers came out almost exactly the same. A couple dollars higher. Obviously they are looking to provide a purchasing incentive not only a lease incentive. With the 2k incentive combined with the low mf leasing was a no brainer. now you could do either, buy or lease, and get a great deal.

I wonder what would have happened if you locked in your mf/residual last month but took delivery this month with the new 7k incentive. Can you keep the mf/residual from last month and combine it with this months incentive? Not sure if that would even apply to anyone but man would that be a smoking deal. I would guess NO.

$5000 on 2006 Z4 3.0i and $7000 on 2006 Z4 3.0si

I just recalculated my lease taking $5,000 of the agreed price ( the trunk money was $2,000 when I got it ) and using the new money factor and residual. I was shocked, it came out to $200 per month more. Wow.:)

It's an Excel spreadsheet. Here is the reason :

New MF .00319 Old MF .00050
New Residual 49% Old Residual 57%

So after 7 security deposits and a .0002 markup plus adding 3% for 10k 3 year lease :

New MF .00290 Old MF .00021
New Res. 52% Old Res 60%
New Price $40,870 Old Price $45,870
Rent cost $446.74
Interest Cost $194.03
Total $640.77
Tax $44.85
Total with tax $685.62 !!!

PLUS the seven security deposits now cost $4,900 where mine were $3,850.

They actually increased the incentives by $500 on 3.0 and 4.4. Lease deals are comparable to last months if remember right.

My dealer is telling me the current incentive is $2500 on a 2006 X5 3.0 and $4000 on a 4.4. Is this right, or are these old (September) numbers ?

How much of this have you been able to negotiate into ? I found a local dealer who says he wants to keep $2k and is willing to go $2k under invoice on a 2006 4.4 or $500 under on a 3.0. Of course, if the numbers increased this month, he's actually keeping more than he told me ...

$5000 on 2006 Z4 3.0i and $7000 on 2006 Z4 3.0si

Wait a minute, I'm confused...are you saying that we can now get a 2006 Z4 3.0i for $7000 below the previously posted invoice price in the sticky thread?? So, we can calculate a sale price as, say, Invoice (not MSRP!) + Dealer Profit (e.g., $1000) - $7000??! If so, that is absolutely fantabulous!!!

cheers,

You're doing something wrong... the difference is only a few dollars, if you got $200 your math is wrong.

I was offered a MF of .0007 for an M Roadster. Would it be unrealistic to try to get the .0005 listed up in the October Incentives thread?

Yes you can, just agree to the 825 aquisition fee in exchange. Or if they won't tell them you will take their MF offer but pay only 625 aquisition.
