Like a few other people, my OBC keeps telling me to check that darned manuel cause i've got a problem with my "Break Light Circuit" well, i called a friend of mine back home in Portland who owns a BMW shop, and he told me to check the contact points on all the bulbs (which i did) and to also maybe change out the brake light switch, problem is, where the F do i get a new brake light switch?
Thanks, Morty.

Morty:
go to your local BMW dealer spring for like 10-12 bucks unless you get the updated switch. Be sure to have your VIN with you because I think the 95 model year was 4 pin not a 2 pin switch but the parts guy can tell you for sure. There are a number of brake light switch write ups to get this done. Unless you are ordering other stuff from one of our vendors it is best to just get it from the dealer...

It will be a four pin switch if the car has check control. The (low-current) switch section tells the CC that the main switch has closed and the brake light filaments should be drawing current.

Morty there is a place called Inter Auto Parts in San Deigo that's a lot cheaper than the dealer. You'll save a lot of money on OEM parts.

Their website is for vendors or autorized shops only. You have to call them and ask to be added to the BMW Club so you get discounted price.
