Hi all
My 1992 325i was the first BMW I had with any sort of computer functionality, if my recollection is correct. I know the 328iS I had definitely had a multi function computer.
I wanted to mention this in an article I´m working on, but I am a bit hazy on the details. I thought I had the brochure but cannot find it.
So your input would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Just to clarify, I am referring to the information display (what was later called a MID) below the a/c controls in the picture located here (http://www.eurotuner.com/featuredvehicles/99763_1995_bmw_m3/photo_05.html).

Well some 328's come with either a 11 button or 18 button Multi-display unit. I believe 1996-to late October 1997 has the 11 button. It could be upgrade by the customer to the 18 button during their time of ordering the car. But I see most 1997 and up have the 18 button standard.
I hope I answers your question and not confuse the issue any more.

Thanks. That helps.
What I really need is a E36 3er in the NY area so I can photo the center console. Anyone? Bueller?

What "input", exactly, are you after?Hi John
At this point, the "input" that I really need is a high-res photo of the center console similar to the attached (which I found on the Web but is not sharp enough)
