Im looking to take performance driving lessons and i live near LA. Does anyone know of a good driving school in the southern california area?

check out bmwcca (bmw car club of america). they put on track schools throughout the year. you just missed one this past weekend at california speedway in fontana.

Yes, BMWCCA Los Angeles Chapter. The Car Control Clinic was awesome.

I just took the track school at the Cali Speedway, and it was great. 4 30 minute sessions per day. I got 4 hours of total track time over 250 miles on the car.. Straight away speeds were 120+...

The CCA events are a bit on the pricey side, but you recevie great instruction. If you are just looking for track time try:

There are other schools:
Throguh the Alpha Romeo Club, TCRA, NASA, etc...
