The world record for the longest BMW parade is 107 cars. I KNOW bimmerfest has broken that... but not officially. So 2007, lets make it official. Someone let Guinness know

Somebody should contact them. In 2005 we had over 275 BMWs in our parade.

This is your dance, chief. Drop them a line and ask them to come take a look at your little gathering-o-car geeks. Adding them to your list of attractions could be very cool.

You'd likely need good proof... how about this year someone video it and verbally count the cars as they pass?

Need a road other than the 101 for the continuous line... maybe the group could take a quick side trip onto HWY 1 towards Lompoc?

107 should be way easy to break. It might be a little tough on the 101, but even there it's do-able.
Does it count if the line is in the Earl Warren Parking lot, cause that would be really easy.

I only counted about 50-something in those pics. I know there was way more cars than 110 last year in the SoCal route, especially after we left that one park trying to get back on the freeway. The whole street was full of our bimmers, maybe 1.5 miles bumper to bumper in two lanes.

They come and witness it themselves. They had one of the guys on The Daily Show a week or so ago and he said they fly around and check all kinds of crazy sh*t out.

This would be so easy to do. Without trying, obviously; it's BIMMERFEST!

:(

You guys are putting me down... Ive wanted to go to Bimmerfest the last couple years but now that we might be breaking a WORLD RECORD, i just want to jump in my car, drive from Chicago to SB, and be the first car counted in that line.... Either way, itd be cool to see Bimmerfest break it....

I think it would be pretty easy. Doing it on 101 would be rather difficult. Personally, I like the idea of 154. Once all the cars are on, there is almost nowhere for any other make cars to get on.

Hey, I live right down the street! If you need help, I'm here :) I'm only 18, but hey...also, I'm an assistant scoutmaster for a boy scout troop, so if there's anything that my troop could do during the fest...lemme know! see you on the streets:)

p.s. stop by Circuit City sometime and buy a digital camera or MP3 player from me:D
