Can anyone help ?
Have a 2001 540i autosport - recently been off the road for a week whist it's had its watercooled alternator replaced (battery completely flat as well)
Got the car back - and noticed the sat nave option on the menu isn't showing - completely gone. If you go into the boot (trunk) of the car - the sat nav disc is constantly spitting out every 20 seconds or so - then retracting the disc back in. Also noticed the power light isn't showing on the sat nav unit.
In addition, the display menu on the dash has completely reset - has text based fonts showing now, looking really basic - and was wondering how I get this back to the sleeker looking menu again (again, all since having the alternator replaced).
Any ideas or help greatly appreciated.........
