Bimmerfest details/sign up?

hello. i'm new here and i've been searching everywhere for more Bimmer Fest details and such. i'm assuming its like a convention where everyone brings there beamers down and there are contests. i'm not sure if you just show up or sign up. i'd like to road trip down to santa barbra with my bmw this year. if anyone has anymore details or sign up information please let me know.

Cinco de Mayo at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in SB. It began as a customer appreciation day but has grown into a significant BMW show. I would guess that registration will go up sometime in February. Check for threads on prior years for a feel for what the event is all about. Jon will probably post a relevant link or two to this thread as soon as he sees it. There is always a caravan from the Bay Area that heads down very early (6:30AM) the Friday before the event - that gives us time to wash our cars, hang out, and otherwise have a good time once we arrive in SB. Further information on this caravan will be posted in this forum at some point, but there will probably be more discussion of this caravan in the forums at the BayBimmerz web site (http://www.baybimmerz.net).
