Brand new E63 M6, with 200 miles toward break-in so far. Will get pics.
Thoughts on selecting an appropriate automatic carwash?
Thanks

Never ever ever use an automatic car wash...unless you mean your own children - but then only if you have properly trained them.
Oh - and if you dont have time or kids, hire a local detailer to wash it once a week. If you have the bread to buy an M6 you can afford to take care of it...if not, please send me the keys.

 CONGRATS! Awesome Choice! much luck..May I suggest you purchase zymol auto wash soap and cleaner wax. Its easy to obtain and does not contain anything abrasive. Zymol brand wash also balances out acids from everyday exposure. P21S is also a worthy brand of products for The M6...Please post some Piks!:)

Go to a touchless car wash, one that does NOT have rails/tracks you have to put your wheels into. I had a Saab with factory upgraded wheels and one of those rails scratched the whole surface of the wheel. Easy enough say have a detailer do it, but that's not as fast as 10 minutes in the car wash.

Actually I have always thought that a detailer did it in "my time" faster than 10 minutes. Most come to your work and wash/wax in place. I never have to leave the building...so I dont even spend 10 minutes in an "express wash" booth.

I wish I had read that before I took a huge chunk out of the wheel of my 545i that I had had for 6days ($*%****#^%#) on the rails in one of those damn washes. Beware.
