NEW Prices!?

Is there a certain period of the year when they change prices for new BMW?
It’s not January I hope.
When was last change? September '02

Normally, it's the end of the production year in September. However, I've seen price changes in January, March, June, September, and November that it's safe to say that there really isn't a set pattern where BMW actually changes prices.

You will usually hear about a price change here from Jon Shafer or one of the more knowledgeable guys months in advance. Haven't heard any thing about a January price change so you can probably rest assured.

Sounds familiar, except the question was whether my dealer was going to get my car before the first or not. My order listed the actual selling price (instead of invoice plus), so I wasn't too concerned.

Actually, when I placed the order (mid november), the salesman said that if they weren't going ot get the car before the first, they might ask me to take paper delivery on the 30th or 31st which, he said, would have kept them from having to pay the higher invoice amount (which I think would have been ~$500 with my options). If I was willing to do that, he said they would give some extra freebie stuff (to be determined at the time), but if I didn't, they would honor the price on my order sheet anyway.
