...for not getting a patent.

If anyone wants to put the steering wheel buttons on thier wheel, just use this kit. Its pretty much eactly what I did, but we did it with model car parts.

My friend james (the PHD in EE) made up a box that did the same thing. 3 or 4 years go I think it was. Good grief.

Im going to call them tomorrow, I do not see how this could work with a IBUS system though

you have to break the buttons apart. If you hit the button, it then activates one end of the rf module, then the other end hits the button nad triggers the switch on the other side. If that makes sense. I did it a bit simpler, but basically the same thing. It was nothing for James at the time.

That is what I was worried about, The above gizmo is just a RF that triggers a 12v switching system, not the IBUS commands

Now if we could get Tom at EAS to build another "box" that takes a 12v trigger that then triggers a ibus command "box" we are set.. but after all that expense I would just rather reach my lazy ass arm up and change it:)
