Okay, it's in the dictionary. But anyone who uses it that way still sounds like a slackjawed mouth breather.

I maintain that the better usage is "input." After all, you don't say "I putted my keys on my desk when I got home."

English is a funny language, with different meanings for same words, etc. I'm told that after Chinese and Japanese, its one of the more difficult languages to learn...perhaps that is why some of our own never do master it. :angel:
