Lowering kit on X-3

Had a question on using a lowering kit on the X3. Do I need to change the shocks also, and what effect would this have on handling? Thanks....

2007, non-sport. Thanks! I'm mainly trying to decrease the gap between body and wheels.

Hmm..... no info on that one yet . If the springs from the 06 work we do carry an H&R sport spring set that would lower about 1.3" and would work with the factory shocks. Expect reduced body roll and better cornering with a slightly firmer ride.
