mass airflow sensor [Archive] - bimmerfest

does anyone know how to go about testing the mass airflow sensor to check if its working correctly???? the motor has no power on acceleration (recently changed cam sensor) and when the airflow sensor was disconnected it made no difference to the motor.. its an expensive part to replace if thats not the problem. any thoughts??

Is this on your e34? If it is failing you should get a 1215 MAF code with the stomp test.
If it is your e34 and you are still having problems post in the e34 section and I'll try my best to help you out.
