e36 clutch: how soft can it be?

Hi guys...new member here. just bought my dream 1994 e36 325is. i'll be posting pics once i finish detailing the car. here's my question: how can i make the clutch softer? i've had 2 operations on my left knee (torn cartilage) over the years and my left foot is simply not what it once was. there's nothing wrong with the clutch of the car. i'm just wondering how i can make it softer. is there an aftremarket assembly i can install to make it softer? i aslo heard that the e46 clutch is softer. does anyone know if the e46 assembly fits the e36? would appreciate your inputs...thanks

I dont think there is a way..? My mother has rheumatory arthritis and she can harly drive my 96' 328is. Also here daily driver 96' z24 5 speed also is hard sometimes. She needs an auto.
