Lakeshore Wheel and Tire?

I know they're aftermarket rims, but I just wanted to know the validity of the company, and how happy any of you were if you bought from them.

thanks.

Yes, I purchased a set of M68 replicas with Kumho tires this past Spring from them and I am very happy with my purchase.

Huh? They sell them with the wheels, so I guess they turned out OK.

right, I was just wondering about the size of them....as far as MM in diameter.

I found a set on there I'm looking at, so thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to make sure the company was legit.

I just received my 18" 162 replica rims with mounted/balanced winter bridgestone LM-25s from Lakeshore. They came with lugnuts, and blank center caps with peel/stick BMW logo/metal stickers which look just like the ones on my current BMW. Unfortunatley other than the fact that they look great, I cant say much more about them. I cant mount them as I am still waiting for delivery of my e90 335i. Having the the same look rims was very important to me however time will tell if they are a good quality product or not.

Quick update -
Installed the winter tire/rim combo on my car last weekend. Took 1.5 hrs (learning curve).

They look great. Visually they are identical with the exception that I have 225s on the rear instead of the 255s. The blizzaks dry performance is great - quiet, smooth with no viabration and reasonably grippy. They are probably better in the dry than half the regular all seasons out in the market. I have yet to try them in the snow.

A couple of things to note. I was lakeshores's 1st 335i sport customer. I think that the sedan has the new 13.7" brakes. Rears went on with no clearance issues at all. The fronts fit fine with the exception of some close tolerances between the sides of the brake calipers to the innermost part of the rim (approx. 3-5mm clearance) I have driven the car extensively and there has been no rubbing between the side of the calipers and the inside of the rim. Lakeshore did provide some 5mm spacers in my shipment just in case of a problem, but I have been told that it is better not to use them if I can. If you do use spacers, remember to order longer wheel bolt/studs as the standard studs/bolts are not long enough to safely hold the rims.

Time will tell regarding the long term quality of the Lakeshore product, but so far so good for 60%+ off the price of real BMW rims.
