Don't have pics but there are 87 small buttons, levers, switches, and toggles on the side of each front seat.

The controls are on the side of each front seat. See the last 2 pictures at this URL http://www.e60.net/information/options/interior/amethyst_dakota/anthracite_maple/
If you have heated seats the heat distribution from seat to back support is controlled in the I-drive.

Get the seats. On the otherhand if you parallel park 10+ times a day get PDC.

For me, it's a no-brainer. Get the Comfort Seats.

Get both. If you're keeping the car it'll be a long time without one of them. PDC is only around 300 or so. Over the life of the car it's like a few pennies per day.

Agree. The PDC lists at $700 depending on model. I think that you should beat the dealer up for both :) It is hard to choose between them and I know options can add up quickly, but IMHO these are both superb options. Others are luxury (i.e. HUD, Comfort Access, etc...) but I wouldn't want to miss either of these. Good luck with your choice.

If you don't parallel park regularly, PDC is not really of much value and I would rather have the comfort seats. That being said, my wife insisted on PDC on her new 530xit even though she never parallel parks. My advice is to get them both - If you're already springing for a 5, what's an extra $700? It will save you from a constant case of the "I should'ves".

I have both but you use the comfort seats 100% of the time and the PDC less than 1% of the time. But the PDC can save $$$ in bumper repairs.

I agree. Have you sat in both kinds of seats? I bought this car BECAUSE of the comfort seats. Best I could find, and I tried everything. Jaguar XK actually had very nice seats but the cockpit was just too small otherwise.
