I'm considering a twin screw level 2 supercharger from AA for my 99 M roadster. The car is low mileage, never tracked. With all the subframe issues I read about, any opinions on whether the frame and drivetrain would handle the extra torque and HP? I can't seem to find anyone who has done this mod on that particular model so I'm a little nervous about it.....
It's a litle pricey but I know all of the cars previous history, like the roadster vs coupe and just can't find a whole lot of written stuff about S/C's in general, particularly on MZ3's....

Here's a start to finsh pictorial essay on the Eurosport twinscrew supercharger that I put on an M Coupe earlier this year.
Here's the same car a year prior getting the rear differential mount and trunkfloor reinforced.
There have been enough stock output cars that have shown damage to the trunkfloor/differential mount that I wouldn't even consider going forced induction without reinforcing that area. I have been providing a repair solution for this problem for over two (2) years now. Just do a search on any of the major BMW Z3/M Rdstr message boards for information.
