I bought this used driveshaft from a fire damaged 98 540ia. I was told it had about 50,000 miles on it when removed and appears to be in good condition. It will not fit in my car (a 1997 produced in 1996) due to the tranmission change that occured in 1998 (it's 2in too long).
Parts dealer won't take it back because I bought it in August and there is nothing I really need to exchange it for.
I paid $200 and I'm asking $150 + shipping.
