I recently moved to eastern Washington.....its been snowing like hell here. I have Pirelli P-Zero Nero all season mud and snow tires, they work ok...but not too safe for compact snow. I need skinny studs.

Anyways, I have a '94 325is with 18x8.5" and 18x9.5" CSL type wheels and '04 330i large front brakes.

The front minimum wheel size I can put on is 17" because of the e46 330i brakes I put on ...which is my dilemma. I cant seem to find any steel wheels and studded tires for that matter in 17"!

LesScwab guy was less than helpfull...he said "we dont get too many BMW's 'round here"

What do I do, short of buying a 4x4? :dunno:

I don't know of any steelies that fit those brakes, but if you search for winter tire packages at our site under the 2004 330i (same winter fitment as your car, but using this car for the search will yield only the wheels that clear those larger brakes). Use 225/45R17 Pirelli Winter Carving for a studdable tire.
