I was pretty pissed when my car was vandalized last month. But then I saw this thread and realized it could have been much worse. YIKES!! :yikes:

My condolences go out to this guy. This really sucks.

F*CK!!! That's sick! I can't even start to imagine how pissed off I'd be if that happened to any of my former Bimmers...

If you know how easy it is to remove these bumpers you'd be very pissed and start calling it a "design flaw"...

All you need is to remove the bumper mounting bolts, easily accessible from underneath the bumper, and the entire front bumper assembly slides right out. Disconnect a couple of wires and you're gone. Can easily be done within 5 minutes if you're slow.

Of course, I'm STILL trying to find a solution to removing my overtorqued rear bumper.

Or you would seen them GRAFTED onto a Civic with a Powered by Honda sticker in the front, and Powered by BMW in the back.

Hmmm... I don't know about that... IMO, BMW tends to engineer things with their techs in mind. They try hard to make their lives easy (i.e. oil filter replacement, etc)...

Too bad that can be used in an evil way...
