View Full Version : Wheels
I recently bought a previously owned bimmer. The wheels are in good condition, but not perfect. There are some visible traces of dirt/grime. Car wash soap would not remove this. Any suggestions on how to remove? The wheels are 1998 M3 LTW polished wheels. Thanks.

maybe you can use some engine parts cleaner spray, but only spray it then immediately remove it or it will eat the wheels away.
Eimann Fabrik Hi Intensity cleaner. Mix 50/50 with water. Or other non-acid cleaner.
For a quick ONE TIME fix dilute Simple green at least 50/50 with water and you MUST seal the wheel with a good wax or polymer sealant right after you got it clean. Rainse the hell out of it, dry/seal.
Meguiar #20 Polymer sealant is one sealant you can get locally at Pepboys/Kragen. Zaino/Klasse works great too. Nu-Finish also works and last long but it is sort of abrasive.
(Note: Only recommend you use simple green the first time. DON'T use it regularly.)
You can order EF Hi-Intensity at places like http://www.properautocare.com/hi-c32.html
