Just got the darn car, finally had a chance to detail it to my standards, and some nim-rod in a landscaping rig runs up the passenger side. I sitting still in the turning lane and BUMP, SHAKE, and SCRAPE! I had a conniption!    A total melt-down fit, right in the median. I know I scared the $#!@ outta the guy. But that's not the clencher. Get this, he says he was looking for an orange. A FRIGGIN ORANGE!!! After that, I was livid. All I could say, as calmly as I could was, "Go back to your truck and wait for the police" or something like that. I got a headache shortly after that to say the least. "Damage is not that bad. It can be fixed", my wife says. Any damage at all is bad, really bad, as far as I'm concerned. Car didn't have a scratch on it, LITERALLY!! Now it's ruined. It's flawed. It's.......  :bawling:   :bawling:  :bawling:

Well I just got hit and run tonight... so I guess December isnt a good month. Went to my parents house and came out and notice the passenger door was dented in from some moron backing into it. People nowadays just dont believe in Karma anymore.. its so totally sad... now this is gonna cost me 500 for deductible... at least you caught the guy that ran into ya hehe.

Well, it's been at the dealer's body shop for 2 weeks. Should be getting it back Tuesday. I can't wait! Was in the area (NOT!) and stop by to check on the progress. It's looking real good!

I totally feel your pain. Some jerk tried to share a parking spot with me (parallel parked), and scuffed my bumper. I was going to go after him (had license plate, etc.), but then the next day there's this plastic storage tub lid on the freeway, and it gets kicked up - next thing you know, the little scuff is nothing compared to the scrapes and crack caused by that stupid debris.
So, I decided to give up my pursuit of the moron who scuffed my baby. I have to get the bumper fixed up anyway.
I was meaning to take it in to the body shop for a touch up anyway - rock chips, you know.

Well the bandages are off, and the beast is back in it's cage! They did a really good job. I have to go back to pick a wheel and let them detail it again due to rain, but all in all , I'm pleased. Now I can mount the Eagle F1s and be back in business. I'll post pics asap. If any of you have State Farm and have to file a claim, stay on top of 'em. They were trying to give me reconditioned parts, not spring for an alignment, etc. It was an ongoing battle, but I got them to pony up for everything they were suppose to and credit me for loss of use. Damnedest thing though, I can still see it and I'll probably imagine that from now until...
