Germany's not the first country to deploy them as police cars. That distinction goes to Lilliputland for use on the 'Yellowbrick Road'. :D

I haven't seen that thread, but this past year London's Metro Police have added a whole bunch of 530's to their fleet. They had pictures in the latest "BMW" magazine I recieved. Can't find it now...
